Tailoring cultural competence workshops to each organization’s needs is our specialty. Lead trainers often focus on helping employees identify, confront, and think flexibly about personal bias. Participants also learn how to help others address biased thinking.
Two-Hour Workshop–A brief introduction to cultural competence. Includes two, one-hour follow-up training sessions.
One-day (six-hour) Workshop–An intensive, experiential learning opportunity for employees to learn about culture, personal bias, and bias reduction. Typically focused on racism, this workshop can include issues related to sexism, gender identification, and ableism.
Three-Day Workshop–This immersive cultural competence experience comes with extensive instruction, expanded scope and practice, and direction on coaching others through culturally stressful events. This workshop is especially important for employees in leadership positions.
